In the past few years Andrea Medjesi-Jones has developed a characteristic imagery, which confidently can be situated within abstraction. The artist’s intention is to set up a relation between narration and memory while rejecting a figurative, documentary description of reality. Combining painting and drawing, her work rather generates a new reality.
